Moose Viking

Jess tells me that there are moose in Sweden, but she hasn't seen any. So naturally that resulted in a request for a drawing of a Viking riding one.

I wanted to do a Frazetta kind of style for this, but that would take eight million hours to do properly, so I opted for a cartoony sort of Frazetta.
Still not sure how finished this is. I'm only now just noticing how tiny the Viking is compared to the moose. But that's okay; a giant moose is an awesome moose. The background should probably be more than just some colours. However, adding more background definition would require time and effort, and I am tired.

Exeunt Scott.

The Thrawn Stratagem

I've been devouring the Thrawn Trilogy recently. What's that you say? You've never heard of it? IRRELEVANT! It is SUPER GOOD and I strongly suggest you read it.
But we both know you won't, since it's a Star Wars series. You probably wouldn't even if you already had a copy because I gave it to you on like Friday, Joel, stop hosting so many goddamn trivia nights and then maybe you will have time.

"SCOTT," you may shout at me, startling me and causing me to spill tea on my pants because how the hell did you get inside my house. "what is this turning into, some kind of Star Wars drawings blog?!" you may continue to yell.
"SHUT UP." I would defensively reply. "How could you complain when you have that rad depiction of a ysalamir sitting on Thrawn's shoulders?"

No. NOOOOOOOoooooooooooooooooooo!!!

This just makes me unhappy. Why must he torture these films so?

It's obvious when you look at it that I threw this together really quickly. Longform things like this just stare me in the face shouting "THIS WILL TAKE HOURS", so I kinda half-assed this one.

I COMMAND YOU TO ENJOY IT REGARDLESS OF MY LACK OF  EFFORT.

Irrelevant Blog Title #70

I did this sketch of a friend while literally watching paint dry in class the other day. It has been digitised for your viewing pleasure.

And here's a less interestingly coloured version, for the less adventurous of you.
Also, I made a placeholder official kind of website at scottmortonillustration.com

Che Guevackbar

Drew this a few weeks ago. I refrained from uploading it since this is exactly the kind of picture the internet loves to steal and sell on t-shirts. As it turns out, this isn't considered parody-ish enough and you'd get in trouble with people who have official-sounding job titles. No shirts for you!

However, I get one.

Unlike women on Facebook, I'm not so good at aiming the camera at myself (this was the best of three photos), so enjoy this off-centre image. With extra beard.
